VOCAL
The Vocal Music Ministry is a place for musicians to serve in a variety of settings from smaller teams to larger choirs. Different groups require different levels of commitment and expertise, however, the goal of each group is to enhance worship, lead in worship and draw people to Christ. The Vocal Music Ministry is not a “performance-based” team, but a “God-focused” team. It is our desire that every Sunday morning service and rehearsal be a time to praise and worship our great God, not a time to showcase the gifts that He has given us. At the same time, we desire to present our gifts and abilities to the Lord in the most excellent way that we are able.
WORSHIP CHOIR
The Worship Choir is open to singers from grade 9 through adult. This group rehearses on Sundays after the morning activities in the Worship Center from 11:20 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and leads worship in Sunday morning services 3-4 times a year. The Worship Choir season is mid-September through April.
WORSHIP TEAMS
Worship Teams lead worship during Sunday morning services on a rotating basis. Because team members are expected to exhibit musical proficiency as well as an active, growing walk with the Lord, those interested in participating need to walk through an interview/audition process. Worship Team members are also encouraged to participate in the Worship Choir.
INSTRUMENTAL
The Instrumental Music Ministry is a place for people to use their musical gifts to enhance worship. The Instrumental Music team utilizes those who are proficient on piano, guitar, bass guitar, keyboards, drums, as well as all band and orchestra instruments.
WORSHIP BAND
The Worship Band participates in the Sunday morning worship services. Participants are scheduled on a rotating basis according to the needs of the group. Team members are expected to exhibit musical proficiency as well as an active, growing walk with the Lord. Those interested in participating need to walk through an interview/audition process.
INSTRUMENTAL SOLOS
During our worship services we often like to have a soloist play a prelude or offering. Anyone who is interested in playing should contact Pastor Brad.
TECH CREW
AUDIO
This team runs the audio equipment for Sunday morning services and other events held at Faith.
LIGHTING
These team members serve by aiming/moving lights and operating the lighting board for Sunday morning services.
PROJECTION
These team members build and run the visual elements on screen that help worshippers participate in our services.
